Declassified Ledger

Documented covert operations and false-flag cases — reconstructed from the declassified record, court findings and archival film.

Most stories about “false flags” are speculation. A smaller, verifiable set are documented: staged incidents that were executed, proposals that were rejected, and ambiguous events that governments later exploited. This project works only with the second category.

Editorial rules

• Every factual claim carries a source reference, visible in the episode and in the description.
• Primary sources are declassified documents, court records and official investigations — verified live before production.
• Cases are labelled by status: fabricated (executed), proposed (rejected), exploited (ambiguous event, used politically).
• No allegation about living persons. Disputed authorship is shown as a dispute, with both positions.
• Archival material is credited; reconstructions and AI-assisted elements are disclosed.

Status

Episode production is in progress. First case: Operation Northwoods (1962, declassified 1997) — a proposal, never executed.

Sources for the pilot episode include the Northwoods memorandum (Joint Chiefs of Staff, 13 March 1962) and NARA’s JFK Records releases.
